Setting up an integration between ConvertKit and upcoach is super easy. Follow the steps below to create an integration and a workflow that will automatically add your new clients to ConvertKit sequence.

  1. Get the ConvertKit API key by going to Settings > Advanced in your ConvertKit account.

  2. Copy and Add it to your upcoach account. You will find this option in Admin > Advanced > Integrations

Now that the integration is set up, let’s create your first workflow:

  1. Create a new automation workflow on upcoach - go to Admin > Advanced > Automation

Give the name to your first workflow and a little description (if needed). Now for building a workflow:

2. Choose a trigger - A new member added to a group, and then pick which program you want to set this automation for


Note: this feature is yet to be updated so the terminology is not accurate. “Groups” equals “Programs”

3. Add conditions, if needed, but I would suggest to skip for this example.

4. Choose one of the ConvertKit actions from the available actions - for eg. Add to ConvertKit form

5. Choose the ConvertKit account that you previously added an API key for, and your workflow is ready. Just exit the workflow designer and you’re good to go.

6. Every new client that gets added to upcoach, will be automatically added to your ConvertKit account and to a specific form that you picked from your list.

Now, you can set additional workflows in ConvertKit, so the new users can also get added to an email sequence for example.

The same steps apply if you want to directly push new users to a sequence in ConvertKit, you just choose this option for the Action in the automation workflow.
